The sharpener works as expected but is a little rough around the edges.  The coarse sharpening worked very well for me whereas the fine portion of the sharpener tended to struggle a bit. Provided this, the first few knives took a bit to get right as I used the coarse grinder to match up to the proper angle and then used the fine to get the nice finish. I ultimately sharpened two blocks of knives and they're wonderfully sharp at this point.
